Hope you guys are doing great under the blessings of Allah ‘azza wajalla.
How’s your week so far? Admit it guys, the temperature is so hot!
Don’t you just want to take showers all day long, have scooooops of ice cream and direct the fan and/or air-con to face you? We feel you!
Alternatively, how about we try these 3 things together?
1) ISTISQA’ PRAYER
In a Hadith by Ibn Abbas, “The Messenger of Allah went out [to make the istisqa’ prayer] wearing old clothes, in a humble and lowly manner, and prayed two rak’at as he prayed the ‘id.” (Hadith Sahih)
2) ASK FORGIVENESS (ISTIGHFAR)
Allah has said in Surah Hud verse 52, “And, O my people! ask forgiveness of your Lord, then turn to Him; He will send on you clouds pouring down abundance of rain”
3) KEEP ON PRAYING
Try reciting this prayer, “Allahumma agithnaa” to be repeated thrice. (Muttafaqun ‘Alaih)
O Allah, grant us rain.
(Muttafaqun ‘alaih)
